Around the building, one finds several stonemsons, all displaying flora carefully maintained by the irrigation system, and enhaced, at night, by the exterior illumination system. Between these colorful shapes strech several paths made in portuguese "calçada". One leads to the garage, capable of sheltering two cars. Another one leads to the house's garden. Here, one finds the swiming pool, like a blue island in the middle of a dark green lawn, the pool's machine house, a barbecue zone and a wide courtyard, ideal for children play or for serving a big summer dinner.
Among the trees in the garden, one finds a lemontree and a pomegranatetree that add colour and flavour to Alcalena.
